Ster Projects is a HAND-MADE, textile and object art brand project filled with bean bags, unique clothing, quilts, sacs, illustrations, screenprints, photography and soon to be more, all created in Los Angeles. 

Ster is organized and designed by visual artist Erin Gigl.  Erin created Ster as an avenue to explore the figure of costume and uniform, exaggerating their imaginary and temporary nature. Inspired by the instantaniety, fantasy and one-size-fits-all of theater costumes, such as smock dresses; labor and hospitality outfits such as aprons and overalls; the beauty of aerobics suits in unison, role-playing and group participation is embodied.

Ster is inspired by the golden hour sunsets in Los Angeles, girl groups, the country, Devo music videos and the seedy scenes found when roaming the streets of Marseille, France (her former home).

Ster also looks to host, throw and design workshops, events, stories and experiences. Get in touch!
